I’m one of the two original JJ’s and the café is named after me. I make the best cheese and fruit scones and I dry the dishes. I also have a part time job in the café at Sainsburys.

I live and work at Café JJ with my girlfriend Emma. I love watching Eastenders and The BFG and playing games on my Xbox. I really love Harry Potter. I like to go to the gym and in 2007 I won four silvers and a bronze medal for gymnastics in the World Summer Special Olympics in Shanghai.

Like my best friend John H, I am one of the original team at Café JJ and the café is named after me. My jobs in the café include making the pastry and scones and I enjoy peeling the apples for crumble.

I absolutely love football and support Manchester United and Darlington F.C. I like to go to watch Darlington play. I love going on holiday and my favourite place to visit is Greece.  I really enjoy going bowling with my housemates.

As part of Team JJ since 2007, I bake the cakes on our menu. My favourite thing to bake is  strawberry and cream sponge cake. Coming to Café JJ’s has brought me out of my shell.

When I’m not at Café JJ I like to meet up with friends and go to STAGE Darlington to do dance and drama. I like to create diamond art pictures and I love Stitch and Harry Potter.

At Café JJ I prepare the weekly specials and write them on the specials board. I set up the tables for our customers and do waitressing.

My favourite things to do when I’m not at JJ’s are swimming, going to Darlington STAGE and going to the Wishing Well Club. I live and work at Café JJ with my boyfriend John H.

I love being part of Café JJ as I get to see my friends and being around them makes me happy. My best friend is Louise and I enjoy working with her. One of my favourite jobs is grating the cheese.

When I am not at JJ’s I go to lots of groups like Wishing Well, Gateway and STAGE Darlington. I like to watch TV and meet friends for coffee. I love to travel abroad. For the last 10 years I have volunteered at the British Heart Foundation store every Friday.

My favourite things about being part of Team JJ are doing the shopping, working with Sue in the kitchen and seeing my friends.

I also like to go to STAGE Darlington, go shopping for clothes and bags and to meet friends and family for coffee and cake.

I love to waitress at Café JJ and my favourite thing about working here is I get to see my friends. I live and work with my best friend, Natasha.

In my spare time I like to go to pilates classes and go for walks.

I am the stockman at Café JJ, keeping the stock cupboard organised and tidy and putting away the shopping on Monday. On Tuesday, I work hard as a waiter.

I love watching wrestling and seeing Disney princesses when I go to Disneyland. I also like to play on my PS4.

My favourite job at Café JJ is setting out the tables and folding the napkins. JJ’s homemade coleslaw is my favourite thing on the menu!

I support Newcastle FC and am a green belt in karate. I love singing and going to STAGE Darlington.

When I am at Café JJ I love meeting and chatting with the customers. My favourite job is making the tea and coffee. I have lots of friends at JJ’s.

I grew up on a farm and I love animals. My favourite thing to do is to spend time with my family and I love staying with my sister and nephew. I really enjoy doing arts and crafts and go to groups at The Hive and Studio 121. I love listening to pop music, especially 80s and 90s and enjoying singing and dancing.

My favourite job at Café JJ is helping do the shopping and enjoy being here because I get to see my friends.

I love Stitch and collect all things with Stitch on. I really enjoy going to STAGE Darlington. I live with my friend Hayley, who also works as Café JJ.

I am a waitress at Café JJ and like to come and see my friends here.

I love Elvis Presley and Stitch. I love to go on holiday with my family. I like to go to college and Five Acres.

I have helped at Café JJ in the school holidays and my jobs are peeling carrots and egg washing pastry. I like to come to JJ’s to see my friends and the staff.

I like to go bowling with my friends and I enjoy playing Minecraft and Fortnite. I like to go out for days out with my PA.
